Jodi! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog after so many months. It really means a lot. I hope you've been well. I can't wait to get back to blogging!

On another note, I love Thanksgiving too! The only downfall for me is that I'm living in San Diego, so there aren't many fall colors to look at. Lot's of football though :)

Hi Jodi,
I love Thanksgiving too (even though I am a vegetarian-and I'm not a tofurkey kind of girl and there are plenty of harvest veggies to eat!) This year has been a year of unusual blessings for me and deep gratitude. Right before T-Day I had some difficulty with language due to a new MS lesion in my brain, so I asked my blogging friends and family and facebook friends and others to join me in an ongoing project about gratitude...it is called the mega mobius gratitude quilt...I invite you to stop by and add your gratitude comments in the comments section of that blog entry...there is a link on the side bar of my blog that will take you to the top of the entry where you can read the blessings of gratitude from people all over the world...it is very cool. I hope you do stop by.
gentle steps,
Laura

Thanksgiving or not, we have to be grateful of the blessing that has come upon us, especially our families and friends. Happy, happy Thanksgiving!. :-)

Dear Jodi, What a beautiful beautiful sharing. The thing that hits me so powerfully is your overwhelming sense of gratitude, and given so freely. I really resonate with that because it is how I feel every day of my life.

This is like a very potent prayer because I've found that giving thanks is probably the most powerful message we can actively send out into the universe. It is healing and soothing. We focus on what we love and cherish. It's so empowering to us and others. And you do it SO well. Simply lovely. Thank you. Hugs, Robin.

Hi Jodi and all,

We do not celebrate thanks giving however it is wonderful to join in the joy and in the appreciation of this community.
I am with Tess, we probably mean more to each other than we will ever know.

Love to you all, Wilma xox

Everyone has the option to be grateful every moment. Thanksgiving is a perceived period of time where large numbers of people get together to exchange blessings. And yet, why do some people limit the idea of appreciating others to selctive dates on a calendar. Let this be a wake-up call to the internal programming that limits what you are. Everyone has the choice to love and celebrate life every moment. You need not have turkey and be with a selective group of human beings to relish what you are now.
